Ticket Claims 2018-19
Sep. 22nd, 2018 09:25 pmTicket Booth Rules:
- Claiming is first come, first serve - which means you might not get your first prompt!
- You may claim more than one Ticket, but you must submit your completed first Fan Fiction before claiming another Ticket.
- You do not have to have DreamWidth to join, but you will be required to provide an e-mail address and a second platform username for the Train Conductors to contact you (AFF, AO3, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.)
- This year's fest has no word count minimum! All we ask is that you put your best, creative foot forward.
- Of course, if you need an extension, please contact the Train Conductors to make arrangements!
- There will also be no drop-out date - all we ask is that you let us know if you will be getting off of the Train so that your claimed prompt can be re-opened and our records can be updated.
- There is no penalty for dropping a prompt or exiting the Train early. You may re-claim a prompt and re-enter the Train all before it leaves the Station!
- Should any problems arise, the Train Conductors will do their best to work out a solution for you.
- If we receive no check-in on the designated date, we will contact you at the end of the week to check on you. We will allow a week for a response, but after that time, we will assume that you would prefer to drop your prompt.
- Please do not reveal yourself while the Train is in motion/the fest is ongoing! Do not reply to comments on your fic until the fest is over - this is meant to by anonymous until reveals.
- Of course, you are allowed to discuss your prompts with your beta(s).
- If you have any questions about a prompt for the prompter, you can contact one of the Conductors and they will contact the prompter on your behalf.
- Confirmation e-mails will be sent out within 48 hours of your claim! If you don't receive an e-mail from us after 48 hours of your claim, then we didn't receive it.
- Please note that all submitted final fics will be subject to the Conductors' Review. We will be searching for any signs of plagiarism, checking for unmarked triggers or warnings, as well as reviewing the content for the rating. If we find any problems with your submitted work, we will contact you about it.
- If we've said it once, we've said it a million times: DO NOT PLAGIARIZE IN ANY WAY! Plagiarizing is illegal!
- Most importantly, above all of the rules, have fun! We want you to enjoy writing your prompts and exploring history with us!
Ticket Claim Form:
E-Mail: Please provide an active/frequently checked e-mail address! This is how we will send out reminders and how we expect to receive your check-ins + final submission.
Secondary Contact: In case one of the Conductors is unable to reach you through your e-mail, we will use this as a second way to contact you.
First Class Ticket No.: Your number one, absolute favourite prompt!
Business Class Ticket No.: Your number two, okay-this-one-isn't-the-first, but also a great prompt!
Economy Class Ticket No.: Your number three, definitely-not-the-two-above, but also a pretty good prompt!
Notes: If there's anything you want to say or ask or if you have any general things you want to talk about, the Conductors are always here to guide you!
Thank you for your attention Passengers! Please don't forget to read our updated Train Etiquette Guide and our Train Warnings & Safety Procedures here before boarding the Train. We will be waiting for you all on the Train! And, as always, if you have any questions or comments, the Train Conductors will be here to provide assistance where we can.
